Fuck. That was hard.
The current temperature is 34 degrees. No rain, no wind, just cold, freeze-your-ass-off air. I had to take the iPod this time. I needed a little more than my own mental strength to force myself to do this one.
I was pretty exhausted, I woke up really tired today even though I went to bed earlier than I have all week..maybe it's catching up with me. I had gloves, a hoodie, toboggan, running pants, a long sleeve running shirt, and thick Carhartt socks on. The worst part was how phlegm-y it got... and I have the worst gag reflex ever because snot and boogers make me wanna vom.
Not much to report besides that. Hopefully it won't get much colder than that while I'm training.
The song of the night that got me up that hill- "Everyday I'm Hustlin'", Rick Ross. Hell yeah- it came on right as I got to the bottom of the hill. (Speaking of, Rick Ross, Nicki Minaj, and Lil Wayne are coming to the Greensboro Coliseum on April 8th... I have GOT to go.)
2 runs down, 2 more to go this week...
